title: These are a few of my favourite things
Yay today's cookies turned out okay. Although a few of the double choc ones were slightly blackish they still tasted fine (: The shapes turned out well and the cookies taste awesome. Heh heh :D Look!
Xinyi's bright mochi idea! And my very artistically taken photo (:

The double chocs.

Not bad la, huh? :D

Our own wacky cookies. Jolyn, Dot, Xinyi, Yunshu.

And, of course, US!

Anyway yesterday I had band prac in the morning. In the evening I went to church for random games. Haha we played Taboo and Charoodles or something (which is actually Charades la). It was SO farneee! With all the crazy acting and rubbishy stuff :D It was fun. Actually this entire weekend I didn't do any work. It really feels good to relax man. Only now: Chem quiz -.-
YAY SAM LEE I AM REALLY SO HAPPY FOR YOU :D :D PRAISE GOD! :D :D Anyway 2+ more days to SYF! :O

3 MORE DAYSSSSS!
Today I could play quite well despite having something of a sore throat. Like my throat feel okay but my voice is kinda husky. Yknow. But I think it's getting better. It just has to be now luh, a few days before SYF. That's why I've been sleeping quite early lately hahaha. Now my fingers hurt from pressing on the horn keys for about 4 hours. Whoosh.
We had SYF rehearsal yesterday at SCH which we paid like $749 or something to occupy for 1 hour?! I just hope we all aren't too nervous on that day and don't play like we are usually capable of. What we're capable of is, I know, very very nice. I've heard it myself (:
Yay tomorrow Xinyi, Jolyn and Yunshu are coming over to bake at my house! :D (Jolyn, you see la, 'cause of you Minyi knows what we are giving them!!) I hope we won't take too long to bake with the shapes and stuff (: Ta!

I am kinda disappointed at how I sounded today during band prac and I'm most unhappy about how we disappointed Mr O, especially at the G melody in Overture. ): And especially when he said we sounded so much better during the holiday prac.
AHHHH. About a week left to what Jolyn calls TBD. The Big Day. Haha. Just 7 days; I'm sure we can hold out!

Yesterday's Loud Fest was nice! Since I hadn't gone for the previous 2 days I decided I'd go for the last night and I wasn't disappointed (:
At first I guess I wasn't really into it 'cause the songs were new and all, but after the message, the walking through the 'tunnel' thingum where all the pastors laid hands on you and the slow worship session it was really great and enthusiastic and fun at the end!
I guess the slow worship session just opened up a new dimension of praising God that I haven't been doing for a long time - like really, really praising Him for who he is and for what he's done for me and being totally undignified while doing it. When walking up from the front it was like, wow, everyone in the room was really worshipping. And the p&w at the end was so fun. Like jumping and jumping and pumping your fist. LOL! (Anyway I only got the grey word-ed shirt which is like so not nice compared to the pink and gold ):)
I'm 50-50 about school starting tomorrow. Sian. SYF IN 10 DAYSSSS! Go me, go hornies, go rgssb! We'll get a Gold/GwH and no less!
Jazz tomorrow :D :D I really like it more than hip hop.

Today was the best so far I think. It just felt so good at the end, when even though there were glitches I still felt so good about it. It makes your heart swell and this sudden urge to smile just washes over you. It's really a magical moment.
Apart from that I am really tired and I'll just put in my best for this last few (2?) weeks and after that I will heave this humongous sigh of relief (and satisfaction I hope). A GwH? (: Who knows?

One week has gone by in the blink of an eye! Yesterday was quite fun. I spent the entire day outside ;)
There was exchange at RI in the morning and I think it kinda woke us up because we heard how other schools sounded and compared it to our own performance, which wasn't fantastic at all (i guess not because we can't do it, but more because we tend to freak out during performances, and also because we hadn't had band prac for more than a week). But I think we sounded great for Turandot today during band prac and I hope that'll be the standard we play for SYF :P (which is like in 2 weeks' time! :O) Guess who was conducting AC! Our old friend Francis Tan! -.-
The Nanyang BM said hi to me and at first I couldn't recognise her until she told me she had gone for NCO camp haha (: And then there was this weird AC guy who asked me the weirdest most random question which my batchmates say is the result of a dare. Haha -.-
After exchange I went shopping with my mum and Abi (after a long period of waiting and wanting) and I'm really happy with this pair of jeans which I bought from F21 in Wisma for only 33 bucks. It's grey, skinny, comfortable and long enough for a slight bunching near the ankles (: I also bought something from Cotton On haha. I finally bought Kelly's birthday present! (It's like 2 months overdue already ><)
We had dinner at Big O and the durian dessert I like was so satisfying and yummy and full of creamy durian. Mmmm awesome! My dad's lamb fillet or chop or whatever was SO GOOD too I tell you. The food was so delish.
Anyway I am like wearing contacts now. Trying it out haha.
Some random photos! (:

I love this picture.

415 ftw!

This scrumptious carrot cake officially announces that Emmanuel is 1 month old already :D

title: Another kind of happiness
TODAY IT JUST RAINED AND RAINED AND RAINED and I wonder why the skies refused to stop pouring water on us people who were already so depressed and inconvenienced by the rain.
Haha but I still had fun today although I am dead tired right now. We had sun at Marina Barrage (yay!) and it was quite interesting down there. Like the exhibits were cool and interactive and I shall put some pictures up maybe here or on Facebook (: And we had fun taking pictures and doing QA (lol!) and dodging impending rain and prickly sand particles!
During Lit LJ where the rain made its presence so...obvious! The most ironic part was it was wettest on the way to the bus stop. Haven't even started the LJ yet -.- Haha and we had lunch at KayEffSee! (It was SO GOOD la.) then we walked around our designated LJ place which was...Orchard Road! (No prizes for right answers, but yes, Orchard Road. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise.) Observed people, took pictures, talked a lot although we weren't supposed to comunicate hahaha. And I must say that Soup Spoon's mushroom is great because it's brimming with mushrooms! (Just a bit ex la. I wanna try the battered button mushrooms!!)
Then I went for dinner with Sam (where I killed myself with a spicy bowl of ramen) and then later jazz. Which was quite tiring 'cause the stretching was killer! And this was my first class so all the steps that everyone knew I had to just follow and look quite dumb 'cause obviously I couldn't do them well so fast.
Okay I am gonna eat again (seems like I've been doing that the entire day!) ta :D Photos photos (:

AHHH there are so many things that have gone by without them having been 'recorded' here on my blog. Haha as you can see my blog's very dead right now! ><
Last week I had gastric flu and I missed Bio and English! That's like the first time in my life I've had to miss tests 'cause of being sick luh. But anyway the papers were okay just that I had to take among people I didn't know ): (except Nancy Jiang haha).
Benjamin Button was an interesting show. (:
Tomorrow's the start of LJ week! :D (For noobs that means excursions to interesting and uninteresting places in place of normal school!) Yayz. Slackness! Of course there are strings attached for every excursion, but anything's better than normal school (:
Last night I watched A Few Good Men on dvd and it really was a awesome show. It's a law-ish movie about morality vs. code of conduct in the US Army (starring Tom Cruise). It just keeps you riveted to it otherwise you'll just lose the whole argument and get bored at how fast the brilliant retorts are shooting around the courtroom. (Haha i felt mentally tired after watching it.) Seriously you should watch it.
(Stupid blogger is taking SO long to attach my coolio picture I hope it can be attached! YESS :D)
Tomorrow's JAZZ!
